It's that time of year when I share this cartoon! It ought to clue you in to my sense of humor and I hope today is the start of a fun-filled week for you, even though you are probably still digesting the Thanksgiving meals and wishing you had had a Black Friday special on your website this year. I know I wish I had devoted time to finishing my Black Friday special. I guess the good news is, it will be ready for the Black Friday in 2012! (Because I'm not going to release it any earlier!)
Speaking of Black Friday, did you brave the crowds? Personally, I never see anything in the big stores that warrants my time standing in a line in the early morning. But my sisters, mom, nieces and I have a tradition of going to the nearby town of about 6,000 people, and shopping at the thrift store and 2nd hand clothing store, as well as Chapters Books. All in one city block, and we always end up stuffing the Tahoe full. I think I spent $60 this year. I know…call me big spender!
I almost forgot, this year we also went and got pedicures at a local salon. So much fun.
What is your Black Friday tradition? Do you stay home and watch football? Do you work on handmade Christmas gifts? Do you shop online or go out and elbow your way through crowds? What is it for you?
